So our littlest, Charlie, has been obsessed with "Mi Mouse" for a while now and loves him far more than Cade ever thought about loving Mickey. Don't get me wrong, Cade had a blast at Disney and is obsessed with all things Jake, Doc, etc... but when it comes to "the big guy", Charlie is all about the mouse.
We knew we wanted to throw a big second birthday party for him (just like we did for Cade. We tend to keep it just family for the first birthdays) and we knew an "Oh TWOdles"/Mickey Mouse Clubhouse party would be just what Charlie wanted!
Boy, were we right.
We started off his birthday Sunday with Eggo Mickey waffles (shout out to Kelloggs for coming out with these just in time for Charlie's birthday) and candles. He thought he was something!
so excited it was his birthday!
I ordered the cute invitations and favor tags from Stickearte on Etsy!
This is the food table before I got all the food out, but I reused anything I had (fabric, chalkboard, polka dot bowls, red plastic serving trays and bowls [which we used at Cade's 2nd Barnyard party too] etc... ) and then added in things I found here and there!

The kids table...
I used red tablecloths from Oriental Trading, black and white striped gift wrap from HobLob and then spraypainted styrofoam balls from HobLob and attached to wooden sticks (you insert toothpicks to attach the "ears) and put it all into these red tin buckets I got on sale at HobLob. The star picks were on sale from there too! I had to throw in a little 4th of July decor...
Plates, cups and straws are from Oriental Trading and the cute red bags too. I used chalkpaint to put the white dots to mimic Mickey's pants. We filled them with Aly's cookies as favors and she also made the cake!
the "2" mason jars I had leftover from Cade's 2nd Barnyard birthday. I seriously tried to reuse anything and everything I could. I'm a complete "party decor hoarder" and have bins on bins up in our attic.
Chad finished his DIY firepit just in time for the party. More on that later...
I loved the cake, it was delish but the bow kept falling off. HA. The Mickey balloons set I got from Amazon!
I reused a Mousketools toy toolbox Charlie already had to put the flatware in. The boys had fun helping me roll those up!
My mom helped me cut out the pb&j sandwiches with a sandwich cookie cutter I got from Disneyworld!
For Charlie's big gift, we got him this fun Little Tikes playhouse on sale at Toys R Us and I glammed it up and put a sign out front that said "Charlie's Clubhouse". He loved it!
such a little gentlemen...
big brother Cade wearing one of his shirts he wore at Disney...
blessed with the sweetest friends who drove all the way from Spartanburg and Greenville to party with us...
Macy loved her little Minnie outfit we got her at market and I still have a few sizes left in this cute dress my sister has on! It's by Karlie. Click HERE to shop...
The smile on this kid's face as we lit the candles and sung Happy Birthday to him! Melt. my. heart.
He got this chair as a present and absolutely LOVED IT. If this kid was anymore laid back he would fall slap out of his chair....literally.
because opening presents is exhausting...
No, he's not spoiled at ALL..... ;)
silly kiddos with their Grami...
For more fun favors for the kids my mom found these Mickey's Clubhouse play packs for $1 each at Mighty Dollar in Anderson! They included stickers, a small coloring book and crayons. I also got more Mickey crayons super cheap online at Oriental Trading, had the Mickey hats leftover from Cade's birthday celebration with family in February and the Mickey pants planter I found at the Dollar General. The letterboard in the background was a WalMart find. Yes, not even joking!
another look at the cookies because Aly is AMAZING!
My whole heart right here.... (Charlie was not into pics just yet)

"OH TWOOOOODLES!"
Seeing this precious smile is what it's all about. So glad our little man had the bestest day. He has filled our lives with so much JOY over the past two years and life just wasn't near as fun without him!
After the party, we stayed up late talking with family and trying to clear out the chaos and aftermath! It even rained in the middle of the party but the kids just kept on playing in it and luckily it wasn't raining hard enough so they couldn't eat at the table under the porch. We didn't let it rain on our Charlie's parade!
Here's a few snapshots I took of him with his beloved Mickey Mouse and wearing big brother's Mickey ears from Disney. When Charlie turns five he will get his Disneyworld trip and get his monogrammed ears :)
Big thank you to everyone who came out to make his birthday so special!! Still can't believe he's TWO.
The party looks fantastic! My nephew had the same theme for his 1st Birthday last month.
