Has anyone taken advantage of "after Christmas sales" over the past two weeks? I certainly have!
I went to Target the day after Christmas (I took that day off and for me, it was my "Black Friday" since I never get to shop that day) I was planning on stocking up on a few Christmas items I'd had my eye on, plus the Neiman Marcus collection was 1/2 off.
Snagged two of these large trays for 1/2 off at $12.48. THEN went back this past week (one week later) and they were $7.48! I got two more and gave one to my sister. I'm going to keep one for myself but what great gifts to have on hand. They only had gold and red and some had a few nicks, but I had planned to spray paint them anyways. Maybe do a monogram decal? A stencil perhaps? Stud trim? There's so many options!
There were more when I was there on Thursday so hurry into your local Target. They are on the end of one of the home decor aisles. Which BTW: has anyone seen the Spring home collection at Target?
Oh. my. word. Love.
Haven't decided how I'm going to style it just yet, where I'll keep it or what color I want to paint it. Coral? Keep it gold? I do love a fresh, bright clean white.
Similar to this one at C Wonder, which retails for $78. That's even a steal compared to others!
Here's a few ways you could use them in your home. Photos via Pinterest.
It would also be cute to use nailhead trim on the sides. Set of two trays retail on One Kings Lane right now for $79. That's on sale from $174. (and they are at Target for 7.48!!)
Love this simple look by one of my favorite interior design blogs, Emily A. Clark.
Also while browsing TJ Maxx recently for new bedroom lamps, I found this Lanai grass root stool on clearance for $39. Had to purchase. It goes along with our bedroom set from Pier 1, but would also work in the sunroom or outside by the pool in the Summer.
Similar to this one at Milieu Home Goods that retails for $154.
Oh and about the Target Neiman Marcus collection deals...I purchased the Marc Jacobs clutch 1/2 off then like I said, the next week they were 70% off. I was mad, yes, but I couldn't resist buying another for a gift since they were only $20! Sucker. Did anyone else snag any of the Neiman Marcus collection sales? I wasn't that impressed with the collection, were you? A let down, for sure.
I also stocked up on basic turtlenecks, solid tees, and Christmas tees for Cade next Christmas at a whopping $1.80 each at Kohls. Next up, I really want to take advantage of Kate Spade's sale and order a few birthday goodies for myself! What other deals have you found recently? I'd love to hear!
P.S. If you love Lilly Pulitzer and didn't get enough at their End of Year Cheer Sale, then check out Sugar's awesome Lilly and Britt Ryan sales starting this week.
Markdowns begin tomorrow up to 75% off!
