Cade is 11 months today! I must say, each month he gets more and more fun. It's just so sad because he has grown up SO fast, it seems that we didn't have a "baby" for very long. He has been walking (sometimes running) and pretty much acting like a toddler for two months now. He is also INTO EVERYTHING but this has been a really great month!
Weight: 24.4 last Thursday at the doctor for 3rd ear infection
Clothing Size: 12-18 months Diaper size: finishing out size 3 we have left but mostly 4s
Shoe size: 5 and he has 8 teeth
First up, he celebrated his first Christmas, which was wonderful! He received so many "big boy" toys which you love. From ride on cars, his very own chair, slides and more...he hops from one toy to the other and is entirely too brave. Standing up on the slide (it's very small for 12mo+) and the Pottery Barn chair. Lord be with us.
He also LOVES to dance. Anytime he hears music he has to stop, squat, and shake it. Quite possibly THE funniest thing we've ever seen. Just ask Sweetbef.
He's started this new grin where you snarls up his little nose. It is the cutest, yet I have no idea where he gets that from.
He can say "Mama", "Dada", "Bye" and his newest word (taught by his father of course) is "Dobble Dobble". You ask him what a turkey says (chad's favorite thing to hunt) and Cade
says "Dobble Dobble". Bless it. He is trying.

He has been sick for over a week with his third ear infection. This time it has been really bad. You can tell he's in pain even though we've used Motrin and Tylonal. Hoping that this new round of antibiotics does the trick. We hate seeing him sick!
He is now a climber. He can climb on and off the couch and is now climbing up on everything, including the kitchen drawers and cabinets. It's insane. He can not sit still.
He has been eating lots of new things this month. Pretty much trying whatever we eat we will let him try a little just not steaks or anything obviously. He still loves his baby food but he is pretty much over his bottle. Thinking of letting him try real milk early, what do you think? Just the past two days he won't even take his nighttime bottle.
He loves brushing his "teefies". It is hilarious because I use to brush them for him but now he grabs it out of my hand, is so strong and will NOT let it go and he's learned to do the "brushing" motions back and forth. He just laughs and laughs thinking he's really doing something.
He loves playing "peek-a-boo" with the door. He will go in his room, sometimes shut the door behind him barely then when we play the "Where's Cade" game, he will quickly swing that door wide open with that big ol' grin.
Bath time is still his fav. He tries to drink the water with the cup and also suck the water out of the washcloth. I have video from when we were little and no matter what, if it was bath time, you better believe my sister was trying to "drink" a washcloth. Totally gross, I know.
MY FAVORITE: He has started to wrap those precious arms around our necks when we pick him up, giving us a big, huge hug. It is by far the best feeling in the world. He is so loving, he knows to give kisses when we ask for "shug shug" and he also learned how to blow kisses as well. When he's sleepy or doesn't feel good he is so content just cuddling and rocking. He also has to play with my hair or his Grami or Mimi's when he's rocking. I never want these precious moments to end.
There's probably so many things I'm missing because he legit does something new now every single day. I am so looking forward to the month/year ahead as his personality starts shining through even more. We are just so thankful for a healthy, vivacious, happy baby. I complain that he's wild and into everything {because I stay exhausted all the time, but I remind myself, he's just a baby boy!} but honestly his daddy and I wouldn't have it any other way. He is so inquisitive, curious, and ready to get into everything he can and learn everything about it. He's also fearless. I hope he continues to take this world by storm and not let anything ever hold him back. That's our wish for him!
Happy 11 months sweet boy. Now to plan your first birthday party...
