Our big boy Cade had Awards Day on Tuesday and totally impressed us with an A Honor Roll award + PE Award! He was so surprised that Mimi and cousin Carter showed up (Carter goes to another local elementary school and they had their last day Monday) and Grami came too.

We are so thankful for his amazing teacher this year, Mrs. Johnson. Teaching is truly her life passion and she's been doing it a long, long time. She will be greatly missed when she retires soon and I'm just so grateful Cade had her as a teacher. Such a blessing! He learned soooo much this year and is quick to say, "Mrs. Johnson is my FAVORITE!"

only posting this one to SHOW HOW TALL CADE HAS GOTTEN!!!!!! Blows my mind. Most all of my friends have boys though and it's crazy because we look around now knowing they're all going to tower above us in a few years. It's crazy!

cousin Carter will be in the THIRD grade come August, Cade in the SECOND and our little Charlie finally starts preschool at Due West ARP Church where Cade went for two years.

I took Tuesday off since I'm working Saturday and knew we would want to go to lunch + maybe have a little pool time. Macy and Charlie kill me in this pic. Hilarious!! They are truly the best of friends and side note: we later realized Charlie had his shoes on the wrong feet. LOL

we walked down Trinity St while we waited on The Village Grill to open @ 11:30. We originally planned to go to Mariah's for Mexican, Cade's favorite, but they had a note on the door that they will be closed every Tuesday during the Summer so FYI Abbeville peeps...
