ok, so this is the week that I attempt to catch up.
next up on the list: randoms + Chad's birthday weekend (5/17)
First up, the boys got haircuts that always end in Dippin Dots.
always eating Mexican, our fav, and Cade is a GROWING boy. He ordered a quesadilla AND a burrito that night! My grocery bill is already insane and I fear the teenage years...
Also during that week we went to watch our high school softball team play for Upper State...
and then that Friday night we watched them WIN THE STATE CHAMPIONSHIP. Two of our best friends have daughters in 8th grade on the team (our high school is 8th-12th remember...) so it was even more special. WAY TO GO HORNETS!!! Our soccer team also won State. So dang proud of my alma mater.
Saturday we headed to the lake for our first official lake day and to celebrate Chad's birthday! No place he'd rather be than out on the lake trollin' and fishing'...
it was a fun day with friends...
then Sunday we did it all over again...
boys...boys...boys...
it felt like the first official weekend of Summer, especially with temps of 100 degrees here in SC!
next up, Memorial Day weekend and more lake fun...
