more birthday goodness.

I'll have another post soon with all the birthday FUN (it includes another Justin Timberlake concert. Oh yes.) but for now here's a few new finds that I'm obsessed with lately!

I really asked for ZERO "THINGS" for my birthday. Just couldn't think of a single thing I needed.  Getting my car detailed? Sure. An awesome experience at another Justin Timberlake concert? YES. A gift certificate to get my nails or hair done? Heck yeah. A great lunch with friends? YES. The moments/experiences/services outweigh all the things. Seriously. I just do not need more "stuff".

Aaaaall of that being said, when Williams Sonoma had an "end of year sale" on Dec 31st, including LeCreuset, I set my eyes on the prettiest dutch oven I ever did see. Only have two red small LeCreuset bakers +  green utensil holder I scored from TJ Maxx years ago. I knew 1.) amazing quality 2.) lifetime investment. For sure. Therefore, in the attempt to de-clutter and simplify, my 2019 purchases going forward are going to be way more intentional + investment pieces only. How will I do? We shall see, but I do believe in buying things that make you happy and as Marie Kondo says "keep only the things that spark joy". (PSA: If you have no idea what I'm talking about go to Netflix immediately and watch at least one episode, please.)

So this gorgeous pink dutch oven may seem silly, but gosh does it bring me happiness everyday when I see it sitting on my stove. Can't wait to make yummy soups and more in it for all my boys too. See, the gift that keeps on giving right?? So that's my big birthday purchase at thirty five. Yep. A rose  LeCreuset dutch oven that was on sale.

Now Joanna Gaines' new book "Homebody" was a Christmas gift from my in-laws and so far, I'm loving it. The book, "Pizazzerie" was another Christmas purchase to myself. Yeah see that was my problem...I did a lot of that in December 2018 *cue eye roll*. Now: we are more intentional.

Anyhoo, keeping with this theme of my absolute favorite color...here's a few more favorite Christmas gifts I received and LOVED + a few things I'm lusting over.

Now y'all know as much as I love pink and I love leopard print, I immediately have my eyes on these pillows. Maybe I can save up for this splurge! Gorgeous.

Blush Leo Pillow by Caitlin Wilson

Romantique by CND. My absolute favorite gel polish color.
I wear this on my nails literally 90% of the time. OB-SESSED.
It's the perfect ballet pink and I constantly get compliments on my nails anytime I wear this color. Sounds absolutely absurd but I swear.

not in need of a cosmetic case, but how gorgeous is this one???
