Last Tuesday our elf Skip finally arrived since we had our tree up. He swung in from the North Pole in his parka and left Cade a Letter to Santa to fill out and return!
We are simplifying Christmas this year to the four gifts: want, need, wear, read.
They will each get a gift from us as well and from each other!
oh + their stockings full of knick knacks & candy of course :)
Then on Wednesday morning we went to the Terrific Kid program at Cherokee Trail Elementary because our Cade was awarded Terrific Kid for the month of November!!! Little brother was most proud and wanted to be in the pic :)
We always knew he was pretty terrific and now we have the award to prove it. Seriously so proud of him for how well he has done these first few months of Kindergarten!
After a few fun(ny) pics by the tree, we were off on an adventure! (and we told Cade to not expect to get out of school early and go on a trip every time he was awarded Terrific Kid ;) major coincidence)
