This could technically be called a "weekend recap" or "what we've been up to lately", but also this is for sure what I'm loving: snuggling on sweet newborn babies and lots of cupcakes. I mean, really what could be better?
So here's what we've been up to!
Last Thursday I grabbed the boys and picked up Sweetbef to head to Spartanburg to take dinner/visit our sweet friend Kelly (and husband Brad and big sis Hadley) who just had her baby boy last month! He was born a month early, so he is a teeeeny tiny little fella. (but STRONG, Cade said because he was impressed with Hudson's grip). Kelly and I were pregnant with Charlie and Hadley at the same time and even had a fun joint baby shower/spa day in Greenville. Now she's blessed with yet another sweet blessing! He is just precious.
While Cade and I were smitten with baby Hudson, Charlie had his eyes set on big sister Hadley. Again, these two are just two months apart in age and we are pretty sure they're going to have an arranged marriage. They were obsessed with each other. I need to post the video of Charlie trying to kiss her! HA
Cade just loves newborn babies. Not sure if Hudson loves Cade by the looks of this pic (bah!) but so precious nonetheless. He is just a doll baby and we had a fun night!
Now on to the rest of the weekend. Our 9 YEAR CELEBRATION at Sugar technically kicked off Thursday morning with three fun events each day...Thursday, Friday and Saturday. I can not believe it has been nine years already and now we start planning the big TEN YEAR. How does a decade fly by so fast?
We are still loving our new location at 334 Main Street and I feel so blessed and grateful to begin another year. This is easily one of my favorite weekends of the entire year because I get to see so many sweet customers and literally hug them around their necks to thank them for being so loyal and supportive of this little business of mine. It really warms my heart and is really what owning a small business is all about! The best customers. The best community. Uptown Greenwood is GROWING and it's amazing to see how much it's grown since I became a part of it nine years ago...

It was definitely a fun (long!) weekend with extended hours, fun sales, free gifts, sweets and promotions. I was exhausted come Sunday but absolutely all worth it to see smiling faces. Always a good time celebrating!!
Now can you believe it's almost Easter? I'm also SO grateful to have warmer weather. The days have really been beautiful and perfect temps around here so once work is done we really soak up every last minute of daylight before bath time. "Work hard, play hard". That's my motto.
Definitely enjoyed some fun quality time with my babies this past weekend too!
