He served our country in the Korean War alongside his pal, my grandfather Charles Wendell Hall, Sr. (shown together in middle right pic) Who would have ever thought their grandchildren would one day marry and name a son after them both - our Jack Charles "Charlie" McClain (Jack actually has a granddaughter [Jackie] and two great-grandsons [Jackson & Jack Charles] named after him) .
He was the only granddad Chad and I had left for the past four years and he always took me in like one of his own, as did all Chad's grandparents. He will certainly be missed by his family & friends who loved him oh so much and I pray that our little Charlie (and Cade! all of our boys!) grow up to be brave, humble, Godly men just like their namesakes.
