Lots to recap and document this week before I forget, starting with Cade's birthday on Feb 3rd!
I'm going to attempt to do a recap of Cade's birthday week/party before I post more about the big move. Yes, it all kinda happened the same week and yes, it was chaotic but nothing mattered more than celebrating our sweet boy's birthday and that's precisely what we focused on! Absolutely.
The night before his birthday, Grami came over with a cookie cake and big balloon for the birthday boy. If you notice the icing is nearly all off...yes, that's because of Cade's unpatient-icing-loving-self. HA! Also he had to have TWO candles, he wanted the one that played music. Lawd.
The next morning I had the day off and we had muffins for breakfast...and he had to blow out another candle, yes.
Auntie Bef stopped by with a present because unfortunately she was in town for a funeral for the sudden death of her uncle (please continue to keep this family in prayer) and she surprised Cade with the coolest book for his bday. It was a book all about him, with HIS photo throughout the book and everything. As you can see, Cade loved...
We headed to Anderson to have lunch/play time at Chick-Fil-A.
Reason #189383 I love Chick-Fil-A...somehow I merely mentioned it being his birthday and the manager heard and surprised him with a little cow and a free cookie. They rock.
We hit up Target and Party City to get favors for his party and this, my friends, is typical Cade.
He will not ride in the buggy and he makes his own rules. Always.
After Party City, we made a quick stop by the barber shop so I could get his hair cut even shorter and oh how it made him look even more grown. It was time!
Such a fun day spent with my THREE YEAR OLD! My oh my, I still can't believe it.
He certainly doesn't look like "my baby Cade" anymore, but I do love this sweet "little boy" he has become. My whole heart.
Next up, his party!
ahhhh...love that baby boy!
