Friday we returned from our second beach trip of the Summer and probably our last vaca of the year. Yep, we might have a weekend trip here and there, but for now the suitcases are going up and we probably won't get them out again until we're all moved into the new house. How crazy is that?
We had a fabulous time and it's been such a fun Summer, but for some reason I am eager to get into a routine and "back in the grind". It has been a whirlwind since we returned, but I'm winding down now after a super productive Monday.
Here's a few pics of our fun family vaca with my side of the fam this time. My mom, her long time bf Charles, my sister, her husband Mack, and their dog Teagan (AKA: "Tee Tee" according to Cade)!
Cade early morning last Sunday when we left for the beach. Clearly not a morning person, just like his mama.
Have no fear ladies, lifeguard Cade is here! Dying.
The boys loved playing cornhole in the front yard. Mama Joy even joined in on the action.
We spent lots of time in the rocking chairs on the porch...
then Monday night we headed out to take Cade to Pirate's Voyage!!
Y'all. It is such a fun show! We all loved it. Cade was in absolute awe.
Yes, we got the souvenir cups. Go big or go home, right?
To say Cade was excited is an understatement. We had been building this up for weeks!
So jacked!
We sat in the second row...
here's our view!
Our little pirate thoroughly enjoyed it. Kids 3 and under are free and can sit in your lap.
We give it two thumbs up!
He even decided to continue his "pirate theme" with his pjs that night. ARRRRGH!
The next evening I took two year photos of sweet Emery, daughter to some of our friends. She and Cade are only two months apart. Yes, I spy a crush.
Cade would not let me take photos of "Em-ry" in peace. More to come...
One of our favorite traditions at NMB is Painter's Ice Cream. It really is the best ice cream ever. Cade loved!
We enjoyed more corn hole on the beach and several sunny days, after a few not-so-sunny days at the beginning of the week unfortunately.
Wednesday night we went to Barefoot Landing to eat at Flying Fish, another favorite.
Nobody puts baby Cade in the corner...
Enjoying views at dinner (right before he got his head stuck in the railing. True story)
Thursday evening our traditions continued with Cade's third ever trip to Hoskins! Some of the best local seafood in North Myrtle. My college roomie and bestie worked there during high school, so she introduced us several years ago. We've enjoyed every year since!
Some of our NMB friends came to join us and Cade had his "first date" with precious Charlee.
What a doll!
It was a fun filled week with the fam and we hated to see it come to an end.
Until next time North Myrtle...
Looks like such a fun vacation!! Love North Myrtle!
