:: prayers ::

Along with documenting our everyday life on this ol' blog, I'd like to think that it can somehow help others. How? By simply asking you all to join me in praying for others. I am a firm believer in the power of prayer, as I have seen it work in my own life. If you have a quick minute to spare today, send up a prayer for these special friends and family. They have all been on my mind so much this week!

  • Continue to pray for Chad's uncle Timmy, who has been battling cancer for about 9 months or more now. He decided to forgo chemo and at this point they are just trying to keep him comfortable. He was able to come out for the 4th and enjoy time with family, but he gets so weak so easily. Also pray for his only son. Seeing the hurt in JT's eyes brought back so many memories of when I lost my dad. I can't imagine what he is going through seeing him like this, but I do know the entire family needs a lot of prayers in the days, weeks, months ahead.
  • Some of our friends had their baby girl a few weeks early and she has been in the NICU with respiratory problems. Also one of my Carolina ZTA sistas, Sweet Caroline, had her twin boys last week too and one is still in NICU. Keep these families in prayer. I have seen how hard it is to have little ones in NICU by watching Chad's sister and brother in law have to face that twice (once with twins, then with Carter). Hope these precious babies get to come home soon!
  • Speaking of babies, there are about three friends who are really close and dear to me that have been trying to conceive, faced miscarriages, etc... and having been through this it has certainly been heavy on my heart lately. I know that each of them and their spouses would be the absolute BEST parents and I pray, pray, pray that God chooses to bless them in the near future.
  • Last but not least, say a special prayer for my mama tomorrow as she is having some tests done.
Thank you all in advance!
If you have prayer requests of your own, send them my way :)

Have a happy, blessed Wednesday!!
