This is what it's all about folks.

All the months of planning, preparing, and imagining this.
This moment.

simply makes my heart swell

Here's a few details from the church and ceremony.
The cute little sign on the back of the wagon Cade rode down the aisle in?
Um yeah, I painted that at midnight before the wedding in true Sandi McClain fashion.
Talk. about. last. minute.

 the dapper gents

and oh so lovely ladies

the gold wrap dresses worn by honoraries were by LaRoque from Sugar
majestic purple bridesmaid dresses were by Alfred Sung from Bella Bridesmaids
shoes were by Pella Moda from Blossom Shoes

I can't leave out the 200+ programs I hand tied satin ribbons onto all. by. myself.
Can you tell I reaaaaallly love my sister? :)

Her bouquet was absolutely gorgeous.
It featured a tiny frame with my dad's picture and a crown broach with an aqua stone.
The broach was our grandmother's (my mom's mom, Lois who passed away several years ago) so it was super sentimental in that reason alone, but we also loved the fact that it was a crown (Courtney and I were both ZTAs at Carolina) and the teal/aqua was also ZTA's color.
I had the broach and dad's picture on my bouquet as well. Love that she continued the tradition.
Before Courtney walked down the aisle she also carried Mack's grandmother's (the one he is named after) bible that all grandchildren have carried down the aisle thus far.

What could be better than white mochas and Krispy Kreme doughnuts when you head out the door?

A few pics that I took before the wedding and during reception.
I just thought this was the cutest thing ever...

my child, baby Magic Mike. Eeesh.

one of my favorites :) he didn't want Aunt Coco to go down the aisle! Bless.

Two handsome little ring bearers. Our little "penguins" with their tux tails

my little man did so good!

Courtney's dress was by Maggie Sottero from Carolina Traditions in Spartanburg.
She wasn't even going to try it on then after we saw her come on and the back of the dress, oh my word we knew it was the one! She had a cap sleeve added on. It just fit her to a tee and the vintage lace detail was stunning!

Showing off her wedding surprise (gift) from Mack! Yep...lucky. dog.
Her very own Loubitons.
The story behind it is we all know how Courtney is obsessed with Elvis. Well what better to walk down the aisle in, than her very own "blue suede shoes". They actually came in a little more "violet" which still worked great because they matched her wedding colors.

can't believe my LITTLE brother (there's 12 yr difference between us) is taller than me!

Cade is looking at everyone like they are CRAZY! HA

dancing fool...

Thank you Papa & Mimi for helping with Cade SO much that weekend

Then my "then 10 month old" proceeded to tear up the dance floor.
Oh what we have to look forward to...

studs.
{Will was actually an usher and wore a tux, but being the teenager he is - HAD to get out of those
 clothes during the reception}

Love my two men so much!

I must say, I've "planned or helped plan" three weddings within the past 4 1/2 years. (mine, my friend Carrie's - which I also directed - and Courtneys) As chaotic as it is, I actually enjoy it and would love to direct weddings one day on the side. The excitement, craziness, organized logistics of it and miniscule planning right down to the very detail is what thrills me. I love it!

It was the perfect weekend and there are so many I need to thank for all of their help, but I'm scared I may leave someone out. You know who you are and you know how you helped - what you may NOT know is just HOW much it meant to us!!!!
