While we had an awesome time at Courtney's Bachelorette Weekend in Nashville, I sure did miss my baby boy! Terribly. I swear the older he gets and the more he knows where I'm at and what I'm doing [aka. he knows when I leave the room, knows when he's not at home, etc...] the worse it gets.
I made sure to buy him lots of surprises and one thing I couldn't leave Nashville without, was this adorable onesie that said "Crawl the Line" / "Johnny Cash". I got Chad a black t-shirt to match that just had "CASH" written in white on the front. You see, Chad loves loves loves Johnny Cash. He can play his tunes on the guitar, we've sang "Jackson" so many times karaoke, and of course Walk the Line is one of our favorite flicks. We even named our black lab ("the dog in black") Cash. They are opening a Johnny Cash Museum in Nashville soon so I have to take Chad next time we visit.

Showing off that he can stand up! Finally caught him on camera. He can take one step, then he plops back down. He is so ready to walk, it's not even funny. Any day now!
I also bought him this book in the airport and it just so happened to be written by John Carter Cash. Coincidence. I just liked the sparkly cover and the fact that it was about a cat in a rhinestone suit. Hello, cool factor! It's the cutest children's book and I've enjoyed reading it to him over and over.
Can't wait to take Cade to Nashville one day.
Hope he loves it as much as his mommy and daddy do!
