Perspective: it took 9 months for Cade to get here right? Felt like an eternity.
It has taken 9 months for Cade to get to this point since birth right?
Feels like I just BLINKED and it happened.

Fastest nine months of my entire life. Know Chad would agree. It is just absolutely crazy to think how much our lives have changed in 18 short months, since we first were blessed with the news we would have this sweet child. We couldn't be more grateful. So before I shed a tear, let's move right along to his monthly post...
Cade is NINE MONTHS! {as of yesterday, Nov 3rd}
Weight: will know next week at checkup Height: will know at checkup
Clothing Size: 9 month, pajamas 12 month, some 12-18 month clothing
Diaper Size: 3
Teeth: SEVEN! Just cut another one this week

- Favorites are: sweet potatoes, pear with cinnamon and oatmeal, applesauce, vanilla or strawberry/apple puffs, strawberry yogurt melts (but not as much as puffs), mum mums, apple juice, and ANYTHING we are eating. He's tried "bites" of almost everything, except meat or sweets. Looking forward to trying some new foods now that he's 9 months. He doesn't love green beans or peas even though I continuously try to give to him or incorporate them somehow. He also eats the Gerber Snacks (cheese puffs) and strawberries, apples, any kind of fruit snack I can make.
- He has learned to say "BYE" while holding up his hand and waving. He doesn't do it every time but sometimes he will just raise his hand up like he's praising the Lord and we figured out he's trying to tell you bye. Sometimes I'll be loving on him and he will raise his hand like "Uh uh mama, BYE!"
- He has really enjoyed getting into the Tupperware cabinet....the pots and pans...the DVDs...and well, really EVERY cabinet there is to get into. He even broke my homemade rubberband attempt at keeping one closed. Got to finish child proofing the house ASAP. Can't keep your eyes off of him!
- He LOVES standing at the front door and watching his daddy cut grass. He watches him go back and forth, back and forth. His favorite thing.
- He had his "first Fall pics" taken by Abby Funderburk Photography a few weeks ago. He was such a ham, per the usual. He loves the camera...and boy does he love his daddy too. They melt my heart!
- On a rainy day before taking him to play at Mrs. Kims for the day, we pulled out his adorable rain boots since I was wearing mine. One of those mornings I just didn't think he could get any cuter and I'm going to have to remember to take another photo in a few years next to my boots again. See how much he has grown :(
- His other favorite is the telephone. He has learned to put the phone up to his ear and say "LO?" or "HEEEEEYYY". (You'd think his daddy and I stayed on the phone or something? Wonder where he got it from?) Actually he puts EVERYTHING up to his ear and says "hello"....anything like a remote, our iPhone, and sometimes random toys. When Chad calls the time & weather and Cade hears that woman talk, he LIGHTS UP and starts laughing. It is the funniest thing ever.
- He loves his walker toys from his cousins. He can stand up on his own for more than 15 seconds (seems like forever) but will not take a step on his own without holding on to the walker. He can walk with this all across the room and loves it!
- His favorite toys are the "remote", the "snail", blocks and his $2 playground ball he can't get enough of. He also loves my bright orange CoverGirl mascara? or any of my bracelets/bangles. Chad says this is not good.
- He's good at playing "peep eye" and laughs and laughs! He even went so far as to put a paper plate over his face (after I finished my sandwich) trying to hide and then play "peep eye" with it.
- Celebrated his first Halloween! Had a blast and got so many "goodies" from everyone.
- I just died when I took this picture the other day. Once again, the kid is into everything right? So I had boxes I brought home from Sugar and you would have thought he was opening a box full of TOYS! That face!!!!!!! I'm pretty sure all we have to get him is boxes for Christmas. Doesn't matter if they are empty. He just loves opening boxes!
Sneak peek of his Fall pics...
Cade, you are our SUNSHINE and the light of our lives. Can't believe you will celebrate your first birthday in just three short months, but we're super excited for the fun season ahead.
