Day 31: Day 3 is all about my little man and how he is constantly changing.

Cade is 8 months today!!

Weight: around 20 lbs few weeks ago at doctor Height: ? won't know until 9 month check up
Size 3 Diapers | Size 6-12 month, 9 month, and some 12 month
Shoes: he's already in a 4 maybe even a 5. He has really big feet if you can't tell. Didn't put any on for this pic but we've got to get him sized for shoes this Fall!
Teeth: 6 (yes, this child has 6 teeth already. 4 on top, 2 at bottom... couldn't get a pic of the top ones)

What has he been up to this month? Hmmm, let's see...EVERYTHING!

He is crawling SO fast. One minute he's sitting in the kitchen while I cook then next thing I know I look down and he's all the way in the den or he loves to go to the guest bathroom and pull up on the tub or toilet. Mimi says his daddy loved playing in the toilet too so that door stays SHUT. Completely grosses me out but know it's bound to happen, let's face it. The kid is into everything.

We finally started a new routine with him and he's going to bed earlier and sleeping almost 12 hours now! Bath time is around 7:30-8 and bottle is at 8:30ish. He's out by 9, sometimes earlier and sleeps until about 8:30.

He eats oatmeal and applesauce in the morning or his favorites are the Gerber Organic Pear Blueberry Oatmeal blend and Pear Cinnamon Oatmeal blend. He has an 8 oz bottle after breakfast, then 6 oz at lunch, 6 oz and a snack sometimes in the afternoon then his favorites for dinner are sweet potatoes (baby food and the real ones, he LOVES) and rice cereal. He also loves the Mac, Cheese & Veggies blend and Sprout Cinnamon Sweet Potatoes even smells yummy to me! He eats really anything...green beans, peas, carrots. We mix it up but he's definitely had his eye on our real food lately. He wants whatever we are eating. 6 oz after dinner and 8 oz with rice cereal in it at bedtime.

His favorite snacks are the Vanilla or Cinnamon Apple Puffs and Strawberry Yogurt Melts. He loves the Banana Mum Mums too and apple juice.

He loves to smile and laugh. We are so thankful he is a happy baby. He has been more fussy since teething but we really can't complain because he is still so sweet and happy most of the day.

His favorite toys are the "Fisher Price light up singing snail" that he chases across the floor and his toy remote. LOVES a remote control and cell phone.

He constantly pulls up on the TV stand, coffee table and couch. He can pull up and walk around if he's holding on to something. He has even stood up and pushed his walker around too. Oh and he stood up for a few seconds on his own.

He went to the park for the first time with his Aunt Coco and Grami on Sunday. He didn't know quite what to think about the slide and swing. Courtney said he held on for dear life.

He DOES love his baby swing at his Papa and Mimi's house and they bought us one for our yard too (thank y'all!) The child could swing ALL day. He still loves being outside too and notices the cat and dog outside now too. I'll say "Let's go find Lucy!!!" and he will immediately start looking around for her (the cat).

He rode on Brantley & Logan's "choo choo" for the first time at their house last weekend. He looks so grown in this picture! Know what we will be getting him for Christmas because he LOVED it.

He enjoys going to "Mrs. Kim's" everyday (his sitter) where he is the ONLY boy until Mr. Hayden arrives. Can you say little flirt? He just lights up when we walk in and he sees those beautiful four girls (ages 2-4). They are all so sweet. One of the girls calls him "Cake" because she thought that was his name, not "Cade". Kim said some days after he leaves she will ask "Where's cupCAKE?" Aaah, so cute. Our little cupcake.

Then this picture just cracks me up. He's looking at those books like "I KNOOOOW you just didn't".

When he plays in his room ... or anywhere really...all he wants to do is throw things on the ground. All books go on the ground and he's figured out how to pull the cubes out and reach in to get toys. Our house is a constant mess if you can't tell :)

He is our sweet sunshine and we are so excited about many "firsts" ahead during the new season. His first Halloween, first Thanksgiving, and first Christmas. This is going to be SO much fun!

This smile MELTS. MY. HEART.
Happy 8 months sweet boy!
