So the weather really hasn't gotten that much cooler around here in SC, but since I'm chomping at the bit to wear Fall jeans, boots, scarves, and jackets I thought I would go ahead and change out my closet then maybe that may happen. (*insert big sarcastic laugh here*)
Just wanted to share a few pieces I've gotten that will be my new "go to favorites" for Fall.
An amazing, posh ponte knit that's structured yet feminine and oh-so-flattering.
Have a few dresses this would look great over and can't wait to wear with a fun pair of skinnies and super fun heels!
You don't understand. I have. to. have. these. Velvet is a huge trend for Fall and this is an awesome way to incorporate it in your closet - with a CLASSIC pant. A great straight leg, mid rise that's not too skinny. Can't wait to wear with a crisp button up, skinny gold belt, and cute flats or just pair with a simple tee. So many ways to wear them and since they are a deep deep "rouge"rather than red, they'd pass for garnet at a Carolina game! Yes.
I know I've posted about this post before but I've already worn the heck out of it and I've only had it a few weeks. It goes with every. single. colored denim we have in the shop. Rust, garnet, emerald green, leopard printed denim, etc... then it looks great with the black skinnies and a cognac boot.
Did I mention it's so comfy I could sleep in it? Yep, feels like it has been worn for years. Obsessed.
Also need a great dress to wear with boots this season and a fun new Lilly Pulitzer Murfee scarf, like the limited edition SC scarves we have at Sugar! Then I REALLY can't wait to pull back out a few tweed shorts I got last year (yes, when preg) to wear with tights. Velvet shorts and tights will be another huge trend. I know, I know...I can hear you now and YES you CAN pull it off.
As for shoes, I'm thinking this is going to be my new "go to boot" for this season.
