"An Evening of Fashion" in Uptown Greenwood was fabulous last night. Our Sugar models ROCKED the runway. They looked amazing and did such a great job. Here's Maggie modeling one of our favorite new Fall Lilly Pulitzer looks!
Leighton Blazer | Raleigh Top | Jet Set Trouser
Lilly Pulitzer Fall 2012 continues their "Lilly in Bloom" theme that started in Resort 2011. It's all about fun florals, yes even in cooler temps, but there's also a lot of conversational prints that are sure to stir up a buzz. Whether you are super trendy or timeless chic, there's a little something for everyone!
It's also perfect for those like me who want a little bit of both. For instance, pair the ADORABLE printed silk Raleigh top in the Cameo White Kissy Kissy print (yes ladies, those are lipsticks. Doesn't get more girly that that! Obsessed) with the Leighton Blazer in Passion Pink and Jet Set Trouser in navy - like we did in the fashion show. You have a classic ensemble that's perfect for the office. Trousers. Silk Blouse. Blazer. Oh but just not your typical trouser, silk blouse and blazer. Adding a conversational print and a pop of color will turn your oh-so-routine work ensemble into something you WANT to put on every morning.
We also love the printed Raleigh with the Worth skinnies! Add killer heels and how perfect for a girls night out? Just because it's trendy doesn't mean it isn't versatile. I love how Lilly takes a classic style and updates it with a trendy print. Genius.
We'll soon get the Leighton in Navy and let's just say it's on order all the way through Spring 2013. Same style but new colors and dare we say...prints!
The blazer looks great with dressy trousers, denim, and dresses. So versatile - a must in your closet this season. Here's a few more favs from this season that have trickled into Sugar the past few weeks...
The Cabrey Sweater. Lilly describes this cardigan as "WARNING: Your other cardigans will have a new frenemy" and they are right! I got the Cabrey last Fall in the grey and wore the heck out of it. It was just so scrumptious - blend of cashmere, angora, lambswool, etc... - and just went with EVERYTHING. I actually wore it with leggings coming home from the hospital after having Cade and I certainly enjoyed it while being pregnant too so ladies, even if you are expecting or just thinking about it this Fall - you can still put this on your Christmas Wish List! The new "Sesame" color is amazing.
All of the new Elsa's in the yummy new jewel tones make my heart pitter patter a bit. We've got bomber blue, emerald green, pansey purple, and neon pink. Oh and the colorblock Elsa's are to die for too. If you don't own an Elsa, do me a favor and PLEASE try one this Fall. You won't regret it. There is nothing that makes you feel more chic than throwing on this insanely easy-to-wear silk blouse with a pair of jeans, flats or heels. It's that easy. Add a gold necklace and you look like a million bucks. Feeling bloated, yucky, not loving anything tight? The Elsa is ALWAYS comfy and flattering. Promise. It's that easy. The best purchase you will make this season. Hands down.
Y'all. The Davie dress is just plain CUTE and too easy to wear. Boots, flats, or heels. Throw on and walk straight out the door. What are you waiting for?
I'm sorry but you know how much I love color and this is just what of my favorite looks. The Cody colorblock cardigan + Worth skinnies in cyan blue. Aaaaaah. Classic Lilly.
These skinnies keep popping up in nearly every photo I posted. I think it's a sign...
Need.
I could honestly go on and on but I think you get the point. Do not miss these fabulous pieces!
