Monday Catch Up

Let's dive right into it shall we?

11.11.11. Day #11: Thankful for all of our veterans who have served and those presently serving to fight for our freedom. Words cannot express our gratitude. Proud that both my granddads, as well as Chad's are veterans. 11.11 is also Chad's granddad's {Papa Doug} birthday. He passed away in 2009 and we miss him so much along with my granddad J.O. Young. Also have an unspoken request for Chad's Papa Jack this week. Please say a prayer for him! And it's neat that he and my papa Hall both served in the Korean War together and have been friends since!

*Also 11.11 meant a lot to us as it was on this date one year ago we saw those "two pink lines" for the first time. You may have seen where I mentioned about our first pregnancy and miscarriage here. It is beyond amazing to see where the Lord has brought us within a full year. He is always faithful and we are forever grateful. 11.11.10 was a joyous day we will never forget, no matter what.

11.12.11 Day #12: Thankful for all of my sweet friend's precious little ones. We attended a birthday party for Blakely on Saturday and I am so excited about Cade growing up with all of these precious kiddos, including all of his cousins {both here and in Boone. Excited to announce Cade will be getting a new baby GIRL cousin next April!}. All together there are nearly ten little ones that I have enjoyed spoiling the past few years and loved watching grow up. Even though some will be a bit older than Cade, I know they will all go to school together one day and hopefully be best buds.

11.13.11 Day #13: Thankful for our church and church family. Our pastor is also family. Literally, {my mom's first cousin} and he is awesome - he simply "tells it like it is" every Sunday and has the best sermons. Love our Sunday school class and all of the new friends we have made. God is good and has blessed our church abundantly. We are excited to raise Cade there and looking forward to the new friends he will make.

11.14.11 Day #14: Thankful for another successful Holiday Open House weekend {our 4th! I can't believe it.} Thanks to everyone who stopped by and to my employees who were especially a huge help to me this year [and for helping me decorate - thanks to mom & Court too] Since I'm a little uh.....slower....this year, you guys made everything so much easier. It was a fun time and we LOVE our customers!!

Now onto another full week of work with another exciting weekend ahead. Hopefully I'll have time to post a few sneak peeks of recent Fall photo shoots too. Happy Monday!
