Can't blame it on any one player, just a bad bad bad combination of a lot of different things.

Still love my Gamecocks and it felt so good to be back at Williams Brice Saturday, that's all I gotta say. The weather was gorgeous. It was the perfect day. Well you know, almost.

For the past three years I've gotten my "Tiger loving husband" (Clemson that is, not Auburn) to don' garnet and black and cheer on the Gamecocks with me at Williams Brice. First year it was an upset against Ole Miss. Last year it was THE biggest upset when we beat undefeated Alabama. I guess you could say my hopes were that we had found a lucky charm in Chad.

Well, Saturday unfortunately proved us wrong.

I'm still blaming it on the fact that we didn't sit together!

It's amazing how much can change in one year.Last year, October 9th then this year October 1st. What a year it has been, but we are so extremely blessed. Cade loved his first Carolina game - he kicked so hard the entire time [especially after those terrible calls by the refs. What the heck] and I'm convinced he's going to be a Carolina fan. Well, and a football player. Again, linebacker or kicker. Yep, I'm pretty sure of it.

So Carolina didn't pull off the win but we enjoyed being at Williams Brice and hanging out with friends. I'd love to go to another Carolina game this season, before I get too big, but my Tiger-loving husband says Clemson it is.

We will see about that.
