22 Weeks and random pics.

Chad took an iPhone pic of me {excuse the blurriness} as we were waiting for Beth and Blake to arrive to head to Columbia for the Carolina game Saturday.
Cade's "first" Carolina game I guess you could say, so here we are...
Few facts about 22 Weeks
  • He is 11 inches long {size of a sphagetti squash, whatever that is} and almost a pound. Almost? I'm pretty sure he's over a pound now since he's measuring ahead two weeks or more. His eyebrows and eyelids are becoming more distinct and he's even developing tiny tooth buds beneath his gums. He's beginning to look like a miniature newborn. Yay! Grow Cade grow!
  • He has been VERY active. I took an video on my phone the other night because you could actually SEE him kicking my belly. It is beyond wild. Also they checked his heartbeat with the doppler at last appointment and it was a high 158 again. The nurse joked that we may have a hyper little boy on our hands! Oh my...
  • At my last appointment I took a deep breath and stepped onto the scale. Um, yeah may not be posting the weight gain on those surveys anymore. Ha! It's not that terribly bad I guess and honestly I do not care as long as we have us a healthy baby boy! I know I will have the motivation to lose the weight post baby. It's called my closet. I will fit into my fun clothes again. But for now, keep the brownies and cold glass of milk coming every night for all I care...
  • On that note though, they scheduled me for my first sugar test at my next appointment in 3 weeks. Maybe I should limit the brownies for a while after all. {Betty Crocker Warm Delights microwave single serve cookie and hot fudge is my thing right now. Yum! Best dessert you can get in 45 seconds}
  • All in all I'm still feeling great, just feeling larger each and every day. Cant' sleep on my back anymore since he feels too "heavy". Going to miss that. Maternity jeans and cocoa butter are my new best friends and yes, I can honestly say I am beginning to feel very pregnant. I know, this is just the beginning right?
Last week Chad put up the shelving in his closet. Planning the closet was a big deal to me. You know clothes are my thing and I re-organize my closet constantly. It's an obsession but I can't help it - it's what I do everyday at my job so I'm use to it. I wanted to maximize the storage since we have such small spaces and now it's ready to fill with all of his sweet clothes.
{Some already there thanks to our wonderful friends and family who graciously gave us tons of hand-me-downs!}

Obviously the bedding, Rubbermaid containers, and other things do not belong in there. I just stuck things there until we had a crib and such to put them in. But it turned out great and I hope to use some of the "pop up fabric boxes" for his blankets? shoes?
What did you find most useful in your nursery closet? What else do I need?
Anything I could use on the back of the door?
Finally, my sister sent me this photo via Pinterest the other day.
Yep, this is going to be our son. I can see it now.
I showed it to Chad and his response was "I HOPE IT IS!"
Aaah, he loved it.
How cute!
