21 Weeks

Two pictures in two weeks? I'm on a roll.

Just wanted to give you a better picture of this "basketball" I'm carrying around. I can only imagine what it's going to look like at 31 weeks, must less 39. This little miracle amazes me each and every day.

If he's still measuring ahead like at last ultrasound, then technically he's nearly 23 weeks now. Crazy.Best purchase so far: Maternal America black leggings with belly panel from Sugar.

So insanely comfy.

How far along? 21 weeks today. Says he's the size of a banana - 7 inches and 11 oz. Funny because at the ultrasound two weeks ago, he already weighed 13 oz. He has to be a pound by now, surely!

Total weight gain/loss: will find out Thursday at dr. appointment. Holding my breath.

Maternity clothes? Most dresses aren't maternity but definitely maternity pants

Sleep: not great lately. Think it's work and stress.

Best moment this week: Registering and putting up shelves/racks in his closet. Felt great to get that organized so we could begin "stacking" and "sorting" and eventually washing and hanging. Speaking of best moment past few weeks has been getting TONS of hand-me-downs from my sister in law and best friend. They both have all boys and we are SO incredibly blessed to receive lots...and I do mean lots... of precious clothes from them. The dresser could literally be full and we haven't even had the first shower. We can't thank them enough!

Movement: All the time. He is so active, actually woke me up a few mornings ago doing somersaults. Crazy.

Cravings: Still craving dips and soups, being Fall and football season. Oatmeal Creme Pies too, which I'm sure isn't going to help the scales Thursday!

Gender: BOY! Joshua Cade McClain

Labor Signs: no, thank goodness

Belly Button in or out? In

What I miss: it's getting more uncomfortable to sleep on my back and that's how I always sleep so I know I'm going to miss that a lot soon

What I am looking forward to: Dr. appointment on Thursday and hopefully getting the crib in the nursery so we can see how much space it takes up and see what else we need to purchase. It's a small room so we are trying to make it work. We still have so much to organize. Also looking forward to going to the Carolina/Auburn game this weekend! YAY!
