14 Weeks and a funny story.

Can't believe I have finished week 14, DONE with the first trimester and now I'm chugging along towards week 15. We're 1/3 of the way through! It seems like time is flying by but then Chad will quickly say "I feel as if you've been pregnant forever." Ha, well we've got a long road to go buddy.

I'm still feeling pretty good, very blessed and not too much I can complain about. May do one of those pregnancy surveys next week, but for now I just have a funny story to share.

My iPhone app told me last week that in week 14, the baby is the size of a lemon. I texted Chad randomly and said "Hey guess what? Our baby is the size of a lemon". Never got a response but when he got home from work, he came in holding a lemon. A lemon, on which he had drawn hair, eyes, a nose and a mouth with a caption that read "my mom is awesome". It was VERY a little creepy looking, but I had to laugh and smile because it was also the sweetest thing. I seriously should have posted a picture of it. There is never a dull moment with him and he's full of surprises. I am so thankful I have his help, encouragement...and sense of humor... to get me from week to week!
