...the wedding of the century, that is.
Add "direct a wedding" to my bucket list. Then, check.
I also helped the bride plan some of the aspects of the wedding - the favors and little things like that. With that being said, to those of you who direct and plan weddings full time - um, excuse me - holy cow, mad props to you! I don't see how you do it. I loved planning my own wedding and knew I would enjoy this as well, and I did! But let me just say it is a lot of work. A lot of fun, but a lot of work.
The wedding ceremony was held in Belton, SC with the reception at the Arts Center in Anderson. The bride and groom were stunning, the cake was out of this world, the food was delish, and the band - The Swinging Medallions - well, they knocked everyone's socks off per the usual.
It was such a fun wedding and so thankful everything came together flawlessly.
Granted, I could barely walk Sunday after being on my feet for nearly 15 hours Saturday but hey it was worth it for the bride & groom :)
Here's just a few pics I got with my iPhone and some I took before the wedding of the candy bar while setting up. There was also a coffee bar [iced coffee, regular coffee, decaf, you name it...] to go with the theme "Love is Strong" and the favors were personalized thermal coffee mugs and personalized candy bags for candy.
This is all I got because for the rest of the time I was running around like a chicken with it's head cut off. Yes, that was me.
Now it's time for yet another event tomorrow night - Sugar's 3rd Annual Sip & Shop along with Blossom Shoes & Such, The Frilly Frog, and David Lindsey Clothier.
It's a great time to come shop in Uptown Greenwood if you're in the area.
Amazing Summer sales [also on our website at www.scsugar.com] , cool drinks, and sweet treats. See you then!
