Yesterday was my 18th consecutive day of work. Usually my only day off would be Sundays, but since we've been so busy decorating for Christmas and with Uptown Holiday Open House (all Uptown businesses stayed open on Sunday for this weekend) the past two weeks have been non-stop! Today I did get to relax for two hours and get my hair done, then catch up on tons of photo shoots I've done over the past two weeks too. Oh and rest. Did I mention rest? I'd like to try that too.
Here's a little bit of what we've been up to...
[i'll apologize now for the random post]
FIRST THINGS FIRST: CAROLINA BEAT FLORIDA!
Do I need to repeat that?
my sister already has tickets to the SEC championship game.
Oh yes. I'm jealous, indeed.
Saturday and Sunday was Uptown Greenwood's Holiday Open House.
On Sunday, we had a "mini fashion show" with some of our wonderful customers who so graciously modeled for us.
Here's a few looks...
and of course we had lots of sweet treats and promotions!
Sunday night we went to the Lady Antebellum/David Nail concert at Furman. I had seen Lady A in concert at CMA Fest and David Nail opened for Eric Church back in Feb at Clemson. They are all extremely talented. I mean, whoah. Amazing vocals. It was so nice to see Lady A up close and personal, performing more songs and they did such a great show. It was also nice to hang out with the girls!
here's all the girls...[taken from sweetbef's blog. photo by mandy]
Monday evening me, Chad and Monica took dinner to Beth, Blake, and Emerson and met sweet Blakely! They are doing great and she is such a beautiful baby. Emerson is also a great big sister and kept saying "baby sister" and "Bwakewy". We are thrilled for them and I can't believe Chad actually held her. Look how small she looks in his arms! ha
Tuesday evening I had the honor of emceeing the Greenwood High pageant. It was so much fun and the contestants looked amazing.
and yesterday my sister came home for the weekend [she graduates from USC on Dec 13th so I'm eagerly awaiting her arrival so she can help me at the store during Christmas! I told her she couldn't find a "real job" until after January.] and I made her model a few new styles, against her will, but I think she did a great job...
