So here goes. 7 Things About Myself. Hmmm...here's a few things for those of you who are new to the blog:
1. I love fashion and always dreamed of owning a women's apparel boutique. After selling advertising for a few years, I made my dream a reality in April 2008 and opened SUGAR in the quaint little Uptown district of Greenwood, SC. [located almost exactly between Greenville, SC and Columbia, SC] We carry designers such as Lilly Pulitzer, Karlie, Tulle, Citizens of Humanity, Britt Ryan, Tru Colors, Beija Flor denim, It Jeans, Ivy Jane, William Rast and more. I wanted a girly store that carried fun, unique clothing with sweet service and southern hospitality!
2. I'm also beyond obsessed with shoes. My husband even built me a shoe closet. Yes, I'm a lucky girl but it's just hard when your addiction is now fueled by a fabulous shoe store that is literally a few feet from my store. As if my problem wasn't bad enough...
3. One of the coolest "shout outs" I've ever gotten for Sugar would have to be from the famous Christian group, Point of Grace. They did a concert here in Greenwood about two years ago and mentioned on stage how Greenwood was "stepping up in the world" and now has new places to shop..."such as that place called Sugar!" I was shocked and later talked to Sara, one of the group members whose hometown is actually just 30 minutes from Greenwood - a little town called Belton, SC. She wanted to come shop with us but never made it over. Well, I just learned this week that they are coming back this Dec to do a concert and we're going to have a "special shopping day" for them since they loved our styles so much! I am beyond flattered and can't wait to spend the day with them. Check them out here.
4. Favorite colors to wear would have to be turquoise and pink, then I wear a lot of brown and black with a pop of color. Really into mustard tones and purple this season too. [oh and a lot of garnet and black this time of year ;)
5. Favorite lines: I love Lilly Pulitzer, Ivy Jane, and Tulle. Those are my top three from Sugar. The only other lines I buy that I don't carry at the store would have to be Tibi, Juicy Couture, and of course I love a good sale, so I always stop by Forever 21 and H&M or outlets when going back and forth to Atlanta to market. then my favorite shoe lines are Sam Edelman is a favorite, along with Coconuts (great, inexpensive brand) and Beverly Feldman. (oh how I love her!)
6. I also love home decor and interior design. My favorite places to shop for home decor is Kirklands, Ballard Designs, and Hobby Lobby. Oh, and TJ Maxx - sometimes you can find some great home decor deals there.
7. Paint colors in my home consist of a warm yellow kitchen with red/black accents, an aqua sunroom with orange coral accents, and we recently painted our guest bedrooms a creamy olive and bright aqua blue. I love COLOR!
That's about all the random facts I can think of. I'll pass this along to these stylish, lovely ladies...

I must add-I am a GAMECOCK lover myself and am so excited to cheer them on in the SEC CHAMPIONSHIP!
