"Bright light city gonna set my soul, gonna set my soul on fire..." - Elvis
I had Elvis's "Viva Las Vegas" stuck in my head the entire time we were in Vegas, particularly that one verse that I kept singing over...and over...and over...until my mom and sister I'm certain were about to strangle me. I did feel like the "bright light city" set my soul on fire a little bit - just because it was a great trip where I was able to spend some quality girl time with mom and Courtney. We enjoyed amazing food, lots of shopping, celeb-sighting and with us three together, there is always lots of laughter. We also enjoyed hanging out with one of our friends,Candice. She use to work with my mom a few years ago and is now an attorney in Spartanburg so we rarely get to see her. She also took on the task of being our wedding director when we got married. She is so sweet, eager to help, and ready for any challenge. We had a nice time catching up and enjoying Vegas. It was mine and mom's third time and Courtney's first. She LOVED it just as much as we do of course. Here's a quick post of my favorite photos and memories.
Of course, we made sure to soak up a few rays out by the pool at our hotel, The Venetian, which is connected to The Palazzo.

It was nearly 90 degrees that week. Hot. Hot. Hot.
My sister Courtney and I enjoying lots of shopping...
[that's why I go to Vegas - the food, and the shopping. Not going to lie.
What? You can gamble there too?]
loved how all of the hotels were decorated in pretty Fall colors
One night in Paris...
we spent the first night at the Paris Hotel and had an amazing [and i do mean amazing] meal at The Eiffel Tower Restaurant, which if you look at this photo closely you can see the restaurant is where that tiny strip of windows sit. You get incredible views overlooking The Bellagio water show. I've had dinner their every time I've been to Vegas, including on our honeymoon!

You can read a little more about all that here.

Caesar's Palace
our last night in Vegas. We met up with mom and Candice's former boss and co-workers at M Resort, which is a few minutes from the strip and we had incredible views [all the sparkling lights in the background]. I don't know what I would do without these two women right here...
Thinking we should get a huge group together to go to Vegas next time.
