Whirlwind

Yep, I will go ahead and apologize for being a little MIA lately. It has been a crazy week. My granddad has been in the hospital since last Friday (he's better and we brought him home from hospital today so keep him in prayer that he's back to his sweet ol' self in no time), we didn't know whether to continue on with our planned vacation to Fripp Island with Chad's family, but we ended up driving down for a few days since Papa was in good hands at the hospital (my mom, sister, and caretakers were all able to help) but I was still so worried and it was also a busy time at the store, so I don't know if I would call it too much of a vacation. Then again, I'm not sure if I will ever get a "real vacation" [no phones, internet, etc...] ever again while owning my own business. Anyways, not complaining. I am just extremely grateful that Papa is doing better and also grateful we were able to enjoy some time with family. Especially these two little "surfer dudes" right here...

We had the best time with them [twin nephews - maddox & jackson]. They are only three but sometimes I feel like they are three going on 13. So grown and they certainly kept us laughing! I think they got their sense of humor from their Uncle Chad. Absolutely hilarious!

Oh but the crazy week isn't over yet. Now it's off to ATL tomorrow for the weekend to order Spring 2010. Yeah. This is going to be interesting, since I still haven't grasped my head around Fall 09 yet! It's not even remotely cool enough to wear Fall clothes yet. Oh well, for now I'm just going to give this whirlwind brain of mine a break and rest, plus keep praising the Lord that I can rest easy tonight knowing Papa is at home [and pray he continues to do well] and we have returned safely from another great family vacation.
