We are the Champions!

I'm on cloud nine today since the Carolina Gamecocks made history last night, becoming National Champions for the first time EVER!

So extremely proud of them and proud that my blood runs garnet & black. For so many years while cheering on the Gamecocks during my time at USC, we would leave the football stadium devastated. So many times they would let us down, just being SO CLOSE to victory but never grasping the win. It was a feeling we had gotten use to, yet never lost our spirits. We would be forever faithful to our team, win or lose, knowing that someday... just someday... we would experience the win of a lifetime.

This is the sweet victory we've always craved.

This is the moment we will savor it.
