game day with friends.

Cade's soccer season is still in full swing and this little brother LOVES watching from the sidelines. His little personality has seriously sprouted over the past month or so. He talks NONSTOP now and he is such. a. trip. He keeps us laughing for sure! (also this photo was taken after he inhaled a purple SnoCone - another perk to going to big brother's games)

telling Mimi all about something...

and this is how he felt about the game...haha

Last Saturday was a CRAZY day. We began the day running over to Sugar to prep for the Lilly After Party Sale that would launch in store at 10am. We were back home with McDonalds breakfast before the store even opened and then we went to Iva around lunch time to a benefit for one of my best friend's baby boys who is only 3 months old and will have open heart surgery at the end of this month. Here's Charlie and my friend's oldest child, Wryn. Everyone please keep Harbor, her baby brother, in prayer this month!!!!!! This family has went through so much.

we rushed back home to take Cade to his first classmate/friend sleepover and I tried to prep the house/outside/shop for friends coming over around Carolina game time to watch that game + stay for the Clemson game. Chad had been outside grilling/smokin meat all day. People started showing up a little after lunch and before we know it, we had a yard full! It was hot but luckily our backyard/shop area is pretty shaded so we enjoyed a fun night of the three F's : Football, Food and Friends!

this little guy thought he was something not having to share friends with big brother. HA!

oh I could just eat him up.

This was me trying to put him to bed and he was NOT having it!
He would have stayed up all night. Too. much. fun.

Our game (Carolina) has already been cancelled as Hurricane Florence plows towards the East Coast. I have several friends staying in North Myrtle and I just can't even imagine at this point.

PRAYING for everyone in this storm's path.  They say rain/winds could reach as far in as us in the Upstate of South Carolina. Definitely praying our friends in Columbia do not get as much rain as devastating Matthew a few years ago. That worries me so much!

We will be buckled up at home glued to the TV all weekend. May God be with us all.
STAY SAFE FRIENDS!!!!
