This past weekend was absolutely gorgeous. It was my first Saturday off in several weekends and I was more than ready to RELAX and spend some QT with all my boys. Chad has had the pontoon out a couple times already this year (one when he took Cade camping...) but it was my first time back on it Saturday and the weather was a perfect 78 degrees!
Chad's parents came out with us and the boys HAD A BALL fishing!! Charlie didn't want to hold his fish, but he did point at it to let you know it was "riiiiight heeee-yuh"
He looks so much like my daddy (his namesake), it ain't even funny. It's as if his guardian angel is shining down on him in this pic. Makes my heart so full.
Cade is a fishing fool. Seriously, the kid can cast like whoah. His daddy and Casey (the Bassmaster Classic champion himself) taught him a lot while they were camping the other weekend.

On Sunday after church and a trip to Lowe's we came home to get started cleaning off porches (the pollen was awful) and planting!
a trip to the grocery store made it extra productive , then we grilled steaks and took in the sunset...
another wonderful day and needless to say, we were all pooped and in bed by 9:30 last night...
Can't believe this month flew by so fast! Here's to May, then come on Summer!!!!!
