Good Friday + the Saturday before Easter is easily two of our busiest days of the year at Sugar. Especially this year since the weather had been so cool and no one knew what the weather would be like for Easter. Sooooo they waited til the weekend of and it was absolutely BEAUTIFUL and such a fun time at the store, helping everyone pick out their Easter best!
So after a long day Friday, we went over to Chad's parents for our nephew's birthday dinner. They are 11! Hard to believe. We had burgers, hot dogs, cake and ice cream and even though it got cool in the evening, it was such a gorgeous fun day!
The next day it was back to work for another busy day, then yet another birthday celebration for baby Rhett's first birthday (daughter of friends Patton & Lessie). Cute bunny themed birthday party and so much fun!
On Easter Sunday I woke up super early (and even saw the most gorgeous sunrise!) so I could get everyone up and at em' so we can surprise Grami at 9am at her church service. Her birthday is today , April 3rd, so it was perfect timing and we love First Baptist Iva's (the church we were married at) Easter cantata. It was so good!
yes, the Easter bunny brought Pringles and yes, they loved it! Their fav. BAHAHA

since we weren't doing our traditional Easter dinner at our house with the fam (my sister/bro-in-law/niece were at Palmetto Bluff for a babymoon/belated birthday weekend) we failed miserably at getting a good family picture of us all.

after church Charlie was ready to hunt eggs and have Sunday lunch at Mimi & Papa's
Papa grilled chicken, ribs, and we had all the fixins.
Hank even got to go with us!

it was a gorgeous day full of hunting' eggs, yummy food (too much food, actually!), bubbles, sweet kisses and ended with a homemade slip & slide + movie night / sleepover with cousin Carter who came to stay. A BIG day.

This week is our Spring Break so I'm off to spend some more QT with the boys before I'm right back to work, work, work again as we celebrate Sugar's 10 YEAR next weekend.
