I vividly remember visiting Hollywood Studios as a "tween" because I remember the Tower of Terror absolutely terrorizing me. haha I don't do well with rides that take your stomach and drop straight down. Eeeesh. However, I do remember loving Hollywood Studios for the above pic right there. Palm trees, blue skies and all things Hollywood (which I also visited exactly 10 years ago). Some of my favorite things. What's not to love?
This day wasn't AS early of a day. (PTL!!) We took an Uber to lost and found to find the hub's phone (yeah, another long story but thank goodness for honest people who turned it into the bus driver that Thursday. Chad was beside himself for two days but we finally tracked it down) and then we were off to Hollywood Studios, arriving around 10am. First stop was the Great Movie Ride, which we just walked on with no wait. Then we had a FastPass for Toy Story Mania and this was easily one of our favorite rides out of the entire week. So fun! We loved Pixar Place and grabbed sprinkled doughnuts for a snack...
We had another FastPass for the Little Mermaid show. The Little Mermaid is probably my #1 fav Disney movie of all time. I scored this t-shirt on Zulily for Chad back before Christmas (maybe $13 bucks, if that). "The human world, it's a mess". I mean, Sebastian speaks truth.
Cade met a lot of Disney Junior characters just right outside this show, then we sat in on the Disney Junior Live show and later headed to Hollywood & Vine restaurant to have lunch with all of the Disney Junior characters!
It was an all-you-can-eat buffet and these tiny hands couldn't even wait to get on the soft serve ice cream with Mickey sprinkles + Mickey cupcake...
the excitement in his face...
right outside of the restaurant in front of Echo Lake
the sweetest...
we caught the storm troopers in the Star Wars parade and watched the Jedi training (which Cade wanted to do but you have to sign up in the morning for this - note to any other mamas out there)
Then we had another FastPass for the Frozen Sing Along Show. I was skeptical that Chad would even like it because I'm not sure he's even seen the movie (well, he hasn't seen lots of Disney movies but whatever we filled him in along the way. haha) but the hosts and the adult humor during this show was hilarious. He really enjoyed it! Don't miss it...
Afterwards, we met Olaf. Yep...he likes warm hugs :)
He didn't want to let go...
We caught the Muppets 3D show and then grabbed a few drinks and more snacks to watch the Indiana Jones Stunt Show which Cade LOVED. I knew that would be right up his alley. Then even though we had another FastPass to use we asked Cade if he wanted to ride the Star Wars ride and he declined. He wanted to go back to the resort and get in the pool so that's just what we did as the sun started to set...
and that's a wrap on Hollywood Studios!
Our "farewell breakfast" and more Coronado Springs pics up next...
