when your friends ask you if you spontaneously want to go back to Fripp Island for 4 days for a tiny little cost, you say yes. YES!
If you've read my blog for some time now, you know it's one of our absolute favorite places and we've been vacationing there for the past six years or so. Our friends asked us to come along and stay in a villa (which we've never done before, but it was totes fine and all we needed + a golf cart rental) and we met up with several other friends who were staying oceanfront. Quite the crew and quite the fun. We will definitely be planning for next year. Our boys just have so much fun!!!
They truly know how to soak up the good life. The salt life.

my big boy looooves the ocean
"nothing could be finer than to be in Carolina"
how did our baby boy get so BIG????
it was a million zillion degrees every morning {errrr ok, lunch time} when we loaded up the golf cart with bags, toys, coolers, boogie boards, yeah our lives...and it is a lot of freakin work to have a one year old on a beach. aka i did not sit down. i took my big camera, but I swear we were so busy this trip I never even got it out to take pics. Only iPhone pics. Long gone are the days of sitting in a beach chair reading a book or magazine. but seeing these sweet smiles .... worth every sore muscle.
on the way home we stopped at Fletcher's Finds, which I read about over at Holy City Chic blog and from all six + years of going through Yemassee, SC never have I ever paid attention to this little place. They were beyond friendly, made us feel right at home and the food was seriously so good. We will definitely be stopping back by next time!
maybe even making it a tradition. Check them out next time you ride through!
HAPPY FRIDAY!
