weekend shenanigans

Just a recap of LAST week/weekend, before the new one begins {Praise Lord}

We had some warmer weather days (almost 70 degrees! Woohoo!) and mom sent me this picture of Charlie outside. Omg that face!!!! ha I could just eat him up, my little sugar pie. He was working on his tan...

Saturday morning the whole fam {rare!} headed to Anderson to the barber shop to get Cade and daddy's haircut. This is the boys waiting for Cade's turn. So gangsta. 

The barber shop is right next door to Five Guys so of course that's where we had to have lunch. Cade will chow DOWN on a hamburger. He has talked about Five Guys all week now. Obsessed.

Me too buddy. Me too. (Charlie even tried a french fry :) shhhhhh)

After lunch, I had to run in Ulta and then we all went into Dicks Sporting Goods. The littlest was sacked out and Cade & daddy had fun looking at baseball stuff for t-ball. Cade got new pants (not a helmet like what he was trying on in this pic...)

We got home and daddy had to go do a little work on our old house, so it was an afternoon of play time with these two before getting ready for ball. 

We were all in the den and all of the sudden, Charlie had crawled out of my site and I couldn't find him! Booger had crawled up under his jumparoo where we have his Pello pillow. It's like his new hiding spot and it is hilarious!!!! He`loves it if you cant tell...

Sunday morning was "sunday brunch-day" since Aunt Coco and Uncle Mack stayed with us Saturday night. Chad cooked us a SPREAD (he makes the best grits around!) and we had a fun morning lounging with the boys. I had to get ready and head to Greenwood to get a few presents ready for my sweet friend/co-worker Jamey (pregnant with twins and has been out on maternity leave). It was her baby shower and I could not WAIT to shower those sweet babies with lots of sweet treats :)

Look how GREAT this mama looks at 30 weeks pregnant with TWINS!!!!!!!!

She's had such a hard journey, didn't even think she would see 30 weeks and here she is. So thankful that these sweet babies have stayed put and I just pray they make it even long enough not to have to go to NICU. What a blessing that would be. Prayers for her and her husband Tim over the next few weeks. It was a beautiful shower and Eliza James & Witt got so many precious things (obsessed with their names. Love it) 

Can't wait to have her back at work but I know the next couple months are going to be made for snuggling and kissing those babies as they become a family of FOUR! Can not imagine, but know this strong mama will make it look easy.
