Charlie's First Easter!

Easter is one of my favorite holidays. 

I love that it's a reminder of God's sacrifice and love for us. I love that it's a kick off to all things Spring. I love Easter egg hunts, bright Lilly dresses, bow ties and just all things EASTER.

This was Charlie's first Easter and I promise he was more excited than he looks in this picture... ha!

They both woke up excited to find what the Easter bunny had brought them!

{well, clearly Charlie had no clue what was going on but he was excited about his food...}

We got ready for church and then once home my mom, sister Courtney and her husband Mack were waiting at the house for us! We had an Easter lunch / mom's bday lunch / courtney's bday lunch.

Ham, rolls, deviled eggs, green beans, mac & cheese, sweet potato soufflé, grape salad, potato salad...(my mom made most all of that) and to top it off I made Chocolate Delight for dessert! (Courtney's request). Just your traditional Southern Sunday dinner if you ask me. Little man LOVED his green beans and sweet potatoes, oh my word...

this was the BEST Easter ever since my hands were full with TWO sweet boys this year!

Chad was {too} quick to change clothes and I pick my battles around here, so yep camo hat and all this is our family pic.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY to these two amazing women this week. Courtney's birthday is March 29th and my mom's is next Sunday, April 3rd!

and if this isn't the cutest thing...Lawd Grami has got him S-P-O-I-L-E-D.

Love it. 

We didn't get to have our egg hunt outside because of the rain, but it was still a great day of snoozing on the nap (ok, so maybe I didn't get much snoozing done but most of them did) and just spending some QT with those we love. Hope you all did the same and had a blessed Easter!
