For the past couple of year now we have attended Self Regional's (our local hospital...where both Chad and I were born, as were our boys) Mid Winter Ball, benefiting the Self Regional Foundation.

Each year there's an amazing 15 piece band, food, drinks, amazing silent auction and a theme! This year's theme was "Bow Ties and Baubles" A Palm Beach Affair. Think: Palm Beach Chic. Of course, I could. not. miss.
For Sugar's silent auction items, we planned a fun Lilly themed party for the winner and up to 10 friends, complete with discounts, swag bags, previews of Summer/Fall lines. Also we did a second silent auction item this year : a free Lilly dress! How could we not!? There were so many amazing trips and items. So fun.
You walked in to find elaborate palm centerpieces, chic black and white striped tablecloths, pink napkins, and chocolate "bow ties" at each place setting. How cute! The buffet was full of "palm beach classics" - from scallops to crab legs, lots of fresh seafood that was delish and always my fav. There was a Bourbon Room where you could channel your inner Frank Sinatra or Dean Martin. Oh and the signature drink - a Lilly martini, complete with fresh pineapple.
I am VERY fortunate to have an awesome sister who owns an awesome bridal and formal store, Voila. This is her one night of the year to really show off her drop dead gorgeous dresses and I'm so glad she hooks me up with the perfect one! I knew I wanted 1. to wear pink (hello, the theme! and i wore black last year so a fun color was a must) and 2. to hide my "post baby pooch" and all that jazz 3. to BE COMFY! This dress did all of that + had bling AND pockets, so yeah...#winning in my book.
Our pic together this year was a lot different than last year....cracks me up....

big thanks to Trinity Photography of Abbeville for capturing the event!
Voila dresses for the win!!!!
Love this gorgeous group of ladies...
(and would you believe that there are 11 KIDS between this group of women? Oh and only 4 of us are moms. Yep, you have fun figuring that one out. Clue: triplets are involved. Yes, I said triplets (and she. looks. freakin. amazing. Mind blown. Everyone was without a doubt "on fleek" Saturday night)
another gorgeous group of ladies I adore...
more pics with my handsome man (who hates dressing up AND hates pictures. You know what this means right? Yep, he must LOVE me)
fam.
these wild men have my heart.
"girls just wanna have fun"
darn my baby sis and those abs of hers. Lawd!!
As we always do, I get a mirror selfie from her asking "do I wear a two-piece to Ball or no?" (this is why sisters are the best. you always have a sounding board...sometimes whether you like it or not. ha) and my response (again, as any sister would do...give you the truth whether you like it or not) : "YES. YES. and YES...because next year you could be pregnant and after that you may not ever be able to wear a two-piece again"
I mean, just keeping it honest. Show off those abs girl. Show. them. off.
{oh to be in my 20s again, am I right? I mean, I've never worn a two piece in my life! Closest I came was 11th grade prom. Cut outs on the midriff. Anyone remember that? Daring, I know *eye roll*}
Loved having a fun night with them! Loved supporting Self Regional...a hospital that has taken such great care of me, my babies, my precious granddad, the list goes on and on.
Can't wait for next year!!
