Get ready for LOTS of Christmas posts this week. Now that I'm not running around like a crazy person every day, all day at the store, I will hopefully have time to do posts to document all of our Christmas fun! Poor Charlie doesn't even have a baby book, so if I don't record it here Lord knows I never will...
So backing up to last weekend...baby boy was all decked out in his Christmas pjs and having a ball on big brother's Christmas sheets...
Friday night after work, my mom and Charles brought the boys to Greenwood where we had dinner, went to look at Connie Maxwell Christmas lights, then came home and made gingerbread houses with daddy! These little pjs were some of the first I bought all season (from Hanna Anderson) and they were every bit as awesome as I thought they'd be.
Saturday night was low key after working another long day again. I had so many presents to wrap, the playroom was a mess, I was nearly at wit's end...but then I looked up and saw this sweet little blessing playing amidst the mess and I quickly realized that's ALL that matters. God has been so good to us this year and our precious Charlie was our BEST gift of the year. I'm going to miss this mess one day...
Sunday morning we were off to the 9 am service at First Baptist Iva to surprise Grami!
This pic cracks me up. Clearly an indication that Charlie needed new toys for Christmas...(riiiiight)
Cade showed out at church, which he has NEVER done (tis the season I guess...) but Grami was surprised/ecstatic and the cantata was great...
After a quick lunch and lots of kisses on these sweet cheeks, I was back at it to work 1-5pm Sunday...
I worked on wrapping my "favorite things" for my Favorite Things Dinner in Greenville with some of my girlfriends. It's a fun tradition we do every year where we all bring everyone our "favorite thing" (with a $5 limit). Some of the ideas we've had are fun socks, nail polish, earrings, tech gadgets, Starbucks gift cards, you name it. You always leave with a bag full of fun goodies!
My hair is ridic in this pic but it was a fun time and YUMMY meal, as always, at Cazbah.
Much needed girls night for sure!!!
Now onto the Christmas festivities for the week!!
