Yep, it's TRUE!

The rumors are true. Sugar is moving!

(...as if building a house and having a baby in one year wasn't enough.)

We are sweetening your shopping experience by leaps and bounds by moving to a hip new spot just across Uptown. This has been a long time in the making (I was approached last October about this new spot) and my theory is when opportunity knocks - you take it. 

This is going to be a HUGE move to us. We are currently located on a tiny brick road, just off of main street in Uptown Greenwood. While I love the charm and history of Waller Avenue, I welcome more road frontage, foot traffic (we will be next door to a well-known, booming "deli by day/bar by night"), and just overall much better space. Being able to design your dream store from the ground up is just a dream come true!

This isn't a new build, but a reno of a very historic building in Uptown Greenwood. It's known as "the old textile building" and was home to JC Penny, then later a bank. There's three retail spots at the bottom and there will be residential condos on the five stories above. Hope you guys will follow along with the design process, which has been a lot of fun - yet unlike with building our house - I've had some help this time (hellooooo I was majorly preggers, then juggling a newborn and no way I could do all this on my own). It's been way fun getting a little wild and picking out amazing new lighting, shelving, wallpaper, etc... for this commercial space. 

So yes, now you see why the ol' blog here has been lacking. Things are getting down to the wire and it has been cray cray. Promise I will share more pics and details soon!!!
