One of Cade's favorite things to do this Christmas was sit next to "Santa" at Grami's house.
Here he is last Monday night, the 23rd, at our Christmas dinner/gift exchange at Grami's.
My mom got him this little vest and shirt from a consignment store forever ago and I kept thinking, "He's going to be so grown when he wears this" and yes, yes he was. *sniff sniff*
He loved that it had a choo choo train on it. One of his favorite things.
Fun with Uncle Mack!
After a yummy meal, it was time to dive in and open presents...
Cade was really good at it this year and caught on quick.
It was so fun to watch him get so excited and take it so seriously.
and sometimes when you open lots of presents, you just get tired and need a seat!!
One of his fav presents was his leaf blower. He loves anything like his daddy's, so now he can help Chad blow off the leaves!
Grami and Charles got him a grill, which he LOVED and looked up at me and said "Mama I cookin!"
He also got a bicycle, which he kept asking Grami for. He got waaaaay too much but being the only grandchild for my mom, he is just spoiled, spoiled, spoiled :)
Christmas Eve, I worked 10-2pm then it was time to get ready and head over to Grandmama McClain's for prime rib and all the fixins.
Here's Cade and Hayden, the sweetest little cousins. They also stay at Mrs. Kim's together every day.
Last year, Hayden was just one month old!
More sweet cousin love, except Cade was OVER pics this day.
He still was fighting off an awful cold/fever virus so he just wasn't himself. Hayden had a double ear infection too. Sick babies all around, with tired parents just trying to make the best of it :)
We had a delish meal and fun time with family.
It is always a night we look forward to! Up next: Christmas Day!!
