We've had a lot of fun lately and gotten into the Christmas spirit! This time of year is super busy, a lot of work and so much to do but I absolutely LOVE IT. This past weekend was a lot of fun.
On Saturday, I dropped Cade off at Grami's for the day while me and Sweetbef went to Lexington to meet up with Andra. We had lunch at Groucho's then checked out Holiday Market! They asked Sugar to participate this year but seeing as how I had never been, I had no clue what to expect and wanted to check it out first this year. We had so much fun, found so many great local vendors and racked up on more Christmas presents. I love supporting small businesses...and any excuse for a girls day, of course!
On our way back, we stopped in Abbeville and met up with my mom, Charles and Cade plus Chad's fam and watched the Abbeville Christmas Parade! Our twin nephews, Jackson & Maddox were riding on the Boy Scouts float.
Hayden enjoyed his first parade...
Cade was snuggled up with Grami and a little concerned about the firetruck sirens!
SANTA!!!
Sunday it rained all. day. long. I enjoyed a day of staying home with Cade, in my pjs, no makeup. It was the first day I was able to do that in a long, long time. Made veggie soup, watched Christmas movies with Cade, wrapped presents and put out my new Lenox Christmas plates that I scored on major sale at TJ Maxx last week. Love them...
Up next, a post about our family fun day and Cade's first visit with Santa this year!
I love that little baby boy!
