Keeping it short and sweet this Friday because I'm a tad bit exhausted from working six days last week and six days again this week. I've made it to work early each day this week though. I think that's a record! TGIF!

ONE trend I am loving is the aztec trend. The prints have been fabulous this season and this Karlie Awesome Aztec Sweater is one of my favorites. Seriously so comfy I could sleep in it!

Fell in love with this gorgeous room this week. LOVE.

Tried this new recipe this week and it was a huge hit. It's Buffalo Chicken Sliders. You just take chicken breasts, 1 pack of dry Ranch Dressing mix, almost one bottle of Frank's Red Hot Sauce (leave a little in case want to put extra on sandwiches) and put into CrockPot for 6-8 hours on low.

Once it was ready after I got home from work, I shred the chicken up and put on Hawaiian Rolls with ranch dressing (bc I was out of blue cheese and Chad likes ranch better, but that would have been my first choice). It was DE-LISH! I couldn't believe how easy too and I was scared it may be "too hot" for me but it was just right.

Last night Cade went to the elementary school Halloween carnival with his Mimi, Aunt Monk and cousins. He went last year and loved it, so they knew he would have even more fun this year! He sure did!!! Thankful they took him to have some fun since I had to work late.

Thankful for sweet family today, yes, but also my heart is happy every time I think about my precious friends. They are the best. Whether it's laughing daily via silly texts, catching up at three hour dinners, or hanging out with our kiddos....I believe this quote to be 100% true...

Happy weekend friends!

  1. How many chicken breasts did you use? I might have to make that this weekend! Yum!

    1. Pack of 4-5 thin chicken breast is what I used and it made plenty! I'm sure the pack of 3 huge chic breast would be enough too. Read later someone added a little water. Try that too when you throw it all in! Soooo yummy!!!
