Quick recap of our super fun, jam packed weekend. As I mentioned last Thursday, my precious store manager Brittany had plans to wed Andrew this past Saturday. Such a sweet wedding with a church ceremony and small reception at a gorgeous home on Lake Greenwood.

The weather could not have been more perfect.

entrance to reception...

Caroline (remember her, I've got a GREAT story for you coming up...), my sister, and I

with the gorgeous bride. Her dress was AH-MAZING. Love this girl to pieces!

Look who showed up...Chad was pumped.

Speaking of Chad, he looked pretty dapper in his Lilly tie.
We are Lilly'd out in this photo! Love her new Nicholet dress in Yummy Melon Pier Stripe. I had special ordered it but more will arrive at Sugar this week!

Ok so while we were at the wedding, my mom had Cade at the Legion baseball game watching Uncle Mack coach. Silly boy decided he wanted to take a photo on Miss Taylor's iPhone. Such a ham!

Here's Cade and Miss Taylor (also a newly engaged) at the game. Cade's facial expressions KILL me.
Bah!

So this is how it went down. My sister Court's husband Mack is a Legion Summer coach and so is Caroline's boyfriend, Nate. It was "friends and family" night at the ball field Saturday night so Courtney and Caroline got to throw out the first pitch (they have been great friends for years bc their guys were roomates at PC). Here they go...

Then Nate came back to bring them the ball again and switched it to a baseball he had cut in half with the ring inside. Down on his knees he went...

and she said YES!

Obviously excited for them! Congrats Nate & Caroline!!

On Sunday we headed to Columbia for cousin Garet's graduation lunch. She is now officially a Wake Forest grad! All of the Newell great-grands were reunited so we had to take a picture with Papa & Grandmama Newell. Is this not the sweetest pic?

Lunch was delish, everything was going great and then this happened.
Jackson and Maddox found the blow up pool, filled it with water and before we knew it all four boys were in the pool with their clothes on. Oh my word, boys will be boys.
This is why you always pack a change of clothes...and shoes!

They had the best time. Here's Cade & Carter with the graduate!!

Papa Jack is finishing up his last round of chemo. This picture is priceless. Such a blessing to have him here with us! He has been through so much lately. Continue to keep him in your prayers!

Cade loves riding in Aunt Monk's suburban because he can see out the window so well!

All of the great-grands again...
(Jackson & Maddox: age 6, Claire: age 4, Carter: age 2, Cade & Abigail: 1)

This was within 15 minutes of pulling out of the driveway. Exhausted!!

Which is exactly how I feel right about now. Since I've bombarded you with way too many pics in one post already, I'll save our Memorial Day fun for tomorrow's post!
