fashion friday: my favorite necklace + weekend wedding fun

*Disclaimer: Ignore all those typos in my last post. Geez. I typed it so fast then went back to read it and wow. Grammar police, please refrain from locking me up*

Friday night we went out to dinner and to Aaron Lewis concert in Greenville as part of Chad's "early 30th celebration". I guess he's celebrating all month long! Bad news is, he had the stomach bug on Thursday and still felt horrible Friday. He didn't even feel like going but it was just a small virus, he toughed it out so we could go with friends.

Anyhoo, I wore a top in my closet by MM Couture that was from Sugar years ago! I was nearly ready to just give it away, but I pulled it back out and paired it with my favorite necklace ever and voila! Instantly created a new look.

Such a great price and worth every penny.

Here I am wearing it with a maxi dress at Fripp last Summer. It is just such an awesome statement necklace and would even make a simple white tank and jeans look fabulous!

I also never posted about the wedding I attended this past weekend (third consecutive weekend of wedding fun. I love it, but Chad & Cade were burnt out so they stayed at home. Ha!). It was for one of our high school friends. She and her twin sister Sarah went to Dixie with us and we've remained friends since. Sarah (on other side of Meg, the bride, in pic) and husband Matt are expecting their first child, a baby boy, in October! Thrilled for these two sweet sisters as they have had an awesome year of celebrations. Congratulations Meg & Tanner!
