Everyone have big V Day plans?
Tonight, Chad and I opted to have a "night in" with our little one and go out later for much needed date night this weekend. We tried going out on Valentine's Day several years ago and swore we'd never do it again. Too crowded. So, I'm making one of my favorite, go to recipes - Baked Chicken Parmesan and Parmesan Cheese Angel Hair Pasta. Semi homemade style.
(I mean, let's be honest. That's really the only way I do things around here!)
When we go to the beach this is what the fam asks me to cook. Now I don't know if it's more because they actually do love it or because they know it's the only meal I can really cook well, but eeehh...regardless, I never mind making it because it's THAT easy!
You see, all you need is this box. You just shake...and bake. Mid boggling right?
All directions and ingredients needed are on the box. The only other three things you need is a jar of marinara sauce, mozzarella cheese, and oregano. After you bake the chicken for 20 minutes, you top it with the marinara, mozzarella, and oregano and let it bake for another 5 minutes.
Perfection every. single. time.
Then you take this box, Pasta Roni Parmesan Cheese Angel Hair Pasta, and whip that up to serve the baked chicken parmesan over. Delish!
Seriously, it's that easy. I usually just serve it with garlic bread and a salad. So that's what we will have here in the McClain household. I'm just glad I talked him into having Italian, my favorite!
Next I couldn't help but to share a few photos of my SWEETHEART this Valentine's Day. These are his favorite "lounging" pjs on a lazy Sunday afternoon.
XOXO
Happy Valentine's Day!
Happy Valentine's Day!
I can vouch that you do make some good chicky chicky parm parm.
ReplyDeleteChicken parm is one of my favorite comfort foods. No shame in using the box- it just makes things a bit easier :)
