I have a ton of pics on my camera that I've yet to transfer to the computer, so these iPhone pics will just have to do...for now.

First up, Holly and Will John welcomed their sweet baby boy, Hayden, into the world on November 26th! He is absolutely perfect with a head full of hair. More pics to come but we are so thankful for another healthy, precious baby boy in the family!

Last week we also got up our Christmas tree! By the time I decorate at Sugar the first of November, I'm already tired and not ready to do it all over again for a while. Actually I haven't put up our "big tree" in two years now but I decided since it's Cade's first Christmas I MUST put both trees up and go all out. Have I finished decorating the second small tree in the sunroom? No. Are the boxes back in storage where they are suppose to be? No. So have I finished? Um, yeah no.

Cade has been silly as ever. Here he is after I tried out a "bubble beard" on him.
Santa? Is that you?

Pulled out all of his Christmas pjs and outfits.

"Mama are you SUUUURE I'm suppose to be wearing Christmas pajamas already?"

One night he did the sweetest thing I don't ever want to forget. He was walking around the den and all of the sudden just plopped down, grabbed his "baby Bible" his Grandma Frieda and Papa Jack gave him, and he laid all the way down on the floor. Then he acted like he was "reading" his book.
Ah, be still my heart.

Saturday night we went to the Abbeville Christmas parade. Cade's first parade!!
He. was. amazed.

Of course he had to wave "BYE" to everyone that drove/walked by.

Church Saturday morning. Yep, Christmas outfits are in full force around here.

On Monday, Chad and I both had planned a day off. We'd both worked several Saturdays in a row lately and with the craziness of Black Friday week then the upcoming craziness of wedding week to come, we figured let's take off for the day and have a "family fun day" just us three. We wanted to take Cade to Bass Pro Shop for a Santa pic and so Chad could do lots of Christmas shopping too!

"Uhhh....we're going to see WHO?"

We stopped off at the Mall of Georgia so mama could do a little shopping ;) We had lunch and Cade rode his first "mall kiddie ride" and the carousel for the first time (more pics to come). HE LOVED IT ALL and looked like such a big boy!

Fast forward to Bass Pro Shop and yes, these pics are out of order, but if you've never been to Bass Pro's "Santa Wonderland" then GO! It's cute, lots of fun for kids {games...another carousel}, and free pic with Santa. We use to go with our friends every year to take their kids while we were on our mountain trips in TN. I want to start back that as a tradition, so figured for this year we could start with Atlanta or Charlotte until we make it back to the mountains next year. As you can imagine, I didn't have to beg Chad to go.

Cade didn't flinch when he saw Santa. He perched up there like a big boy, but it was the "jingle bells" that the elves kept ringing that startled him! Ha!

We shopped and shopped...until Cade dropped. All of the sudden his little head fell over onto his stuffed animal and he was OUT. I quickly jumped at the chance to scoop him up and we sat in the oversized leather couches beside the fireplace. I could have sat there and held my baby boy for DAYS had someone let me. After all, I really didn't need to walk down every aisle of duck calls, guns, and camo. We had a great time "napping" while daddy shopped.

I would say that Cade's first trip to Bass Pro shop was a success. He loved Santa, loved all the "fishies" in the tank, the animals. Just like his daddy, it certainly won't be his last.

Had such a great day with my boys, got lots of Christmas gifts checked off the list and lots of memories made. Can't wait to make this a tradition!
