This is just a hodge podge of iPhone pics from last week & this past weekend. If you don't follow me on instagram, you can find me at sandimcclain. I may or may not be a wee bit obsessed.

Anyhoo, last week I picked out our Christmas paper for Sugar! This made it all the more real. Y'all we decorate for Christmas next month, the weekend after Halloween. Insane. The busy holiday season (and my baby sister's WEDDING) is approaching very fast. [insert mild panic attack here]

We usually do some sort of pink and black, even at Christmas, but I loved this mod print and thought it was very "Kate Spade". With pink tulle bow and black Sugar sticker? Thoughts?

The new Lilly Pulitzer South Carolina Murfees hit Sugar a few weeks ago. I finally got mine last week and LOVE it. We have a few left so hurry and snag yours too. Let me know if you want one!

Baby Cade has been busy getting into EVERYTHING.

I met up with Sweetbef and Aunt Coco last Thursday for a Chick Fil A date and we took him to
Tar-jay for the first time. Side note: holy clearance time. I snagged him "water shoes" for next Summer for $2.80 (good call Beth), adorable red boat shoes, tons of pool toys for Christmas/bday gifts and bug spray, etc. All "Summer items" are on major clearance so if you are in a Target this week, check out the clearance section and stock up!

"Hey who left their big red ball outside?"

Being silly with Auntie Bef!

Kid was amazed at the toy aisle. Know a few things Santa will be bringing him for Christmas :)

Friday morning I woke up to a horrible sinus infection. Knew it was coming. Anytime I stress, stress, stress, and work, work, work...I always get sick, sick, sick. Ugh. This helped a bit...

So I stayed at home and tried to organize/switch closets into "Fall mode". I had painted my shoe closet and added necklace hooks, for extra storage, a few months ago but I realized I can't even paint a straight line WITH PAINTERS TAPE! Grr, I give up. Gold chevron temporary wallpaper it is. Buying it asap and finishing the shelves.

*note: to those who asked on Instagram, the shoe closet was an idea by moi when we ripped out a tiny single standing shower in the master bathroom before we moved in. We added a shower/tub in the corner when we remodeled so the only question was, "empty closet: shoe closet or hunting clothes closet?" Well you see friends, my husband is the absolute best and I won that battle quickly. He called in his buddy Posey and they built the shelves, painted them and voila! - my dream came true.

They said it was easy, so ladies find an extra closet and get to work (or get someone else to :)

Saturday I worked all day {still feeling like crud} then came home to crash on the couch and watch the Gamecocks with this handsome fella.

He called his girlfriends...
"Rang rang...who dis is?"

Sunday I had to head back to work to finish up some stuff. This got me through...

Perk from the weekend: new Birchbox came. Kate Spade "Twirl" smells divine.

While I worked and worked, Cade had fun looking up tractors and all things
John Deere with his daddy.
"No daddy, let ME do it!"

If this isn't a "Chad McClain face", I don't know what is.

Finally, yesterday I said goodbye to sandals for a while and pulled out flats for the first time this season.
Cute flats, at that. Oh and the new Lilly Pulitzer Poppy Top in Passion Pink? Obsessed. It's on our website so click the link above and check it out!
