Cade's first time in the ocean...and other firsts!
He didn't quite know what to think about it at first, but then he LOVED it and enjoyed spending time on the beach the rest of the weekend.
More firsts...
Cade's first time at Hoskins in North Myrtle Beach. My college roomie/bridesmaid Cameron {who Cade finally got to meet for the first time} worked there during high school and I visited last time I was here a few years ago. It's awesome seafood if you are in NMB. Locally owned and been around for years! It's a smaller place and I was scared Cade may show out but he did great.
He also experienced his first time in this type of stroller and strolled on the beach. We found this at the beach house and figured it would give him something to do besides just sitting there. Well he had the BEST time! Oh my goodness he had that leg propped up and one time I thought he was about to throw his hand up and start waving as if he were in a parade. He thought he was something.
He also had a ball at his first time at Barefoot Landing. He got to see real tigers {kinda random that they were there but you can see one sleeping in background of this pic}, a merry-go-round, lots of fun stores, dinner at T Bonz, and all the water/fountains. He loved it and was a trooper even though it was pretty muggy hot, as expected.
On the way back home we stopped in Lexington so I could love on baby Porter {son of my other college roomie/bridesmaid Jewitte} and Cade could meet him for the first time. It was their first play date and they had a big ol' time. Cade saw that Porter was walking around {at 11 months} and he decided he wanted to be a "big boy" too so he sat up the whole time to play and has been sitting up ever since!
Love these precious boys!
Few more photos of our beach bum tomorrow then I'll stop overloading you with pics.
Well, maybe...
