I have a lot of catching up to do. This has been a busy and tiring week, but in attempts to catch up here goes a quick recap of our fabulous girls weekend to celebrate friends Kelly & Beth's 29th birthday!
We went to Kelly's family mountain home in beautiful Blowing Rock, NC. Gorgeous.

Cute favors for the guests! Yes, their birthday and WE got presents. Love the cute chevron monograms. They are the best.

Inside was monogrammed coozies, neon sunglasses, neon hair braids, neon earrings, neon straw {total neon party}, candy and an It's Your Party coozie, {Beth's mom's awesome party planning business}
Can you tell we were pumped?

Had to post a picture of Kelly with her gift from Beth! A monogrammed clutch from Marley Lilly. I saw these a few months ago on Just Dandy's blog here and fell in love. Ordered one to take to a recent wedding {robins egg blue with coral embroidery}. Beth saw it and spilled the beans about how she got them for Kelly & Devin for their birthdays. Now we are all twinsies and I love it!
Everyone needs one because they are just that darn cute.

Our attempt at a self timer group picture. Love letting loose and being silly with these girls.
I'm a firm believer that laughter is THE best medicine and boy did we have a lot of laughs.

Birthday girls blowing out their candles on their peanut butter Reese's cookie cake made by Miss Peyton Betty Crocker.
{no the birthday girls did not plan to dress alike but show how much of BFF they are :)

So fun! Clip on hair braids, princess crowns and all.

Dance parties, Sugar gifts, stunna shades and lucky rocks. Just a few outtakes from the first night...

The next day we went to Grandfather Vineyard in Boone for a wine tasting and pretty day in the mountains.

Birthday girls...

Perfect, relaxing day.

We came back to the cabin and changed for dinner at Twigs in Blowing Rock!
Found a new friend along the Blue Ridge Parkway to take our picture on the way to din.

Clearly our waiter was a good photographer...
Tried to capture the fireworks and all the girls.

After dinner we were back in our PJs for another girls night in {yep, exciting...this is how we roll when we're 28+} and everyone enjoyed cupcakes I brought from Strossners. Beth always gets them for me every birthday and they are so delish so I had to return the favor for this occassion!

Hope these two ladies had a great weekend celebrating. I sure did have fun with them and it was much needed girls time even though I missed my "men" dearly. Nice little getaway, even though we missed the other birthday girl Devin, but now the countdown to their epic 30th bash begins...
oops I mean 29 again :)
