Here's what we've been up to this past weekend.
First of all, I sat roly poly right beside me the other day as I was folding clothes on the couch. He was laid back looking at me like "Mama would you please move, I'm trying to watch TV!"

Excuse me, when did he get so big?

On Friday it was so good to see family from Boone and go to graduation for two of Chad's cousins - one on the Newell side (JT) and one on the McClain side (Jacob). We also had several family friends graduate as well. Haven't been to graduation in nearly a decade - which was when I graduated! Yikes.
Newell girls and Isbell boys with JT
Jackson, Holly, Maddox, Jacob and Monica
Congratulations to both of them!!

On Saturday Chad had to work but I took Cade over to spend some time with his cousins - all 5 of them. Can you believe we got these photos of ALL the great-grands with Papa Jack and Grandma Frieda? Priceless.

Six great grands under the age of five. As you can see their hands (and hearts) are full!

The kids expressions are hilarious!

Cade and his cousin Abigail - only six weeks apart!
Jackson is the oldest (well one minute older than his twin Maddox)
and he is such a good "big cousin"
sweet baby Abigail
Carter and his funny faces.

On Saturday night we went to a gender reveal party for family members (and my friends since high school and the other, elementary school) Holly & Will John.
Holly is Chad's first cousin and we have prayed and prayed for them for the past two years as they were trying to conceive. Well when their hopes were at their lowest the Lord surprised them with a blessing in February! [See, the Lord loves surprises too] They are expecting a precious bundle of joy this November and we couldn't be happier for them!!!! SO SO EXCITED. God is good.

my sis in law Monica worked hard on all the cute details
Since we have 4 boys on the McClain side and no girls yet, the majority
thought GIRL.
Cade and sweet cousin Hailey

Time for the reveal...

What will baby S be? BOY OR GIRL?

Well.......t's a.......BOY!

Two things for sure. 1. This little guy will fit right in with his four cousins and they are all going to have such a time together and be so close. That makes me smile just thinking about it. Then 2. I told her she wouldn't have to buy a stitch of clothing for him because of all the hand-me-downs we have accumulated! :)

Thankful for this wonderful blessing and a wonderful weekend with family.
Congrats Holly & Will John on the BLUE and JT & Jacob on your GREEN diplomas!
